The property is lauded for its excellent location, close to the beach and within easy walking distance to Porthcawl, with pubs, a coffee shop, and a local shop nearby.
Reviewers find the property exceptionally comfortable, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a homely atmosphere that suits a variety of group sizes.
The Old Barn is well-equipped with a large kitchen, utility room, and modern amenities like a Nespresso machine and internet. However, the lack of information on bin collection and the specific pods for the Nespresso machine slightly affect the score.

This impressive, spacious barn conversion is situated in the popular village of Nottage, on the outskirts of Porthcawl. The barn dates back to 1826, and it has been sympathetically converted to incorporate the old part with modern interiors. In the village, the barn benefits from pubs, a coffee shop, a village store and a village green all on the doorstep. Porthcawl is a seaside town located on the south coast of Wales. Porthcawl is known for its picturesque coastline, sandy beaches, and vibrant community. Spend a day with a visit to the Porthcawl Maritime Centre and the Museum or Rest Bay beach (both 1 mile away). Have a day out at the Kenfig Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) or visit Ogmore Castle (8 miles). A picturesque ruin located near the confluence of the rivers Ogmore and Ewenny. The site provides stunning views and is popular for walks along the riverbank.
