This C18th stone cottage, converted from a former Chapel adjoining the owner's home, has recently been refurbished. The cosy beamed living room has a woodburner in the stone inglenook fireplace, TV, DVD and radio/CD player and the compact modern fitted kitchen includes a small freezer. Upstairs in this charming cottage the bedroom has a double and a single bed, and the contemporary en suite benefits from a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Oil-fired central heating run from the owner's system is included, logs are supplied, WiFi is available and the owners offer use of their washing machine if required. The lovely landscaped gardens are shared with the owners and there is a barbecue as well as patio furniture for your use.

This is an excellent area for walking, trekking, birdwatching, fishing and horse riding; local bicycle hire is also available. Bala has the largest natural lake in Wales, and you can appreciate the beauty of the area with a relaxing trip on the Bala Lake Railway. The town itself has a leisure centre and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby is the renowned National White Water Centre where you can experience exhilarating rafting and canoeing on the rushing rapids.
