This single storey 'cottage' enjoys beautiful views over fields to the sea and mountains beyond and is 2 miles west of Criccieth.
Min-y-Mor is situated around the corner from Bwthyn, in a collection of converted cottages in the grounds of the last home of Earl Lloyd George. This single storey cottage is within walking distance of the attractive little village of Llanystumdwy, 2 miles from Criccieth, 6 miles from Porthmadog and 7 miles from Pwllheli.
This cottage is rather basic and has an open plan living/dining room and kitchen with two sofas (one a bed settee), a small TV with Freeview and a fitted kitchen. The dining area has dual aspect windows with sea views. There is one double bedroom with fitted bedroom furniture, and a bath/shower room. Heating is by night storage and electric heaters and flame-effect stove. With shared grounds and open fields around, the cottage has its own private picnic bench, with distant sea views across the fields.
The village of Llanystumdwy is a short walk away and has a pub and the Lloyd George Museum. This is a convenient location for touring the stunning coastline of the Lleyn Peninsula with its sandy beaches, coastal walking, pretty villages and the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. There are plenty of attractions and places of interest nearby including the Italianate village of Portmeirion, Porthmadog for the Welsh Highland Railway, the bustling town of Pwllheli with its shops, cafes, pubs and marina, and world famous castles at Criccieth, Caernarfon and Harlech.
