Take the stairs to the second floor to find the two twin bedrooms here, perfect for the children to settle down in, with the front room providing the best view of the house over to the sea. See the beautiful waters up close with many days spent walking down to the sandy shores of Nefyn Beach in the summer sun, being less than quarter a mile away; you can enjoy this hidden gem's clear blue waters, stunning bay views, and explore the rock pools and paddle with your little ones. The tumultuous history of the peninsula and the sea can be discovered within the Llyn Maritime Museum, offering an insight into how life has evolved on this rugged outcrop. Keen golfers can head to the excellent course at Nefyn Golf Club with beautiful sea views from every hole, although not for the faint hearted as due to the exposed headland position! The amenities of Nefyn include a few takeaways, a hotel with a bar and restaurant, a brewery with its own bar, and several local shops. Venture to the southern side of the peninsula to visit the sailing centre of Pwllheli, hosting regattas throughout the year when the town comes alive with sailing buzz, with an impressive marina and more excellent shops, pubs and cafés to visit. Abersoch is a delightful small fishing village, near to another excellent beach known locally as Hell's Mouth. The Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach for hikes, mountain biking and a range of activities, as is Criccieth with its castle and the delightful seaside resort of Porthmadog.
