There is fantastic access for those who wish to explore Beacon Hill, plus a 5-mile route for keen horse riders can be reached on the nearby beautiful Glyndwr's Way National Trail, as well as the Kerry Ridgeway or Jack Mytton Way. An abundance of walks and cycle routes at Offa’s Dyke provide fantastic views, and red kite and grouse can often be spotted. The neighbouring village of Knucklas boasts an ancient 13th century castle mound and an imposing viaduct built in 1865, complete with an impressive 13-arch span.
