Being in the centre of Machynlleth it is well placed to explore the local independent shops, cafés, restaurants, takeaways and cosy pubs.  There is a fantastic market every Wednesday, offering local art and crafts, flowers and artisan food.  The Owain Glyndwr Centre, where Glyndwr was proclaimed Prince of Wales, is on the high street, and the building now hosts a museum covering the life of Glyndwr and his historic parliament. The local leisure centre is a short walk away, as is moma (museum of mod. . .
