A Grade II listed half-timbered terraced cottage in Montgomery, an historic border town 10 miles from Newtown, 8 miles from Welshpool. Traditional accommodation with many 'mod cons'.
Dating from the late C17th, this romantic Grade II listed period cottage boasts loads of character and charm, with beams, oak floorboards and a four-poster bed. It's in Montgomery, which has a superbly sited castle, a few shops, pub, gallery, and even a Michelin-starred restaurant. You're about 8 miles from Welshpool and 20 miles to Shrewsbury, with excellent local walking and visitor attractions.
Size: Sleeps up to 3, 2 bedrooms; please note that there are several changes of level, steps and staircase within the cottage; the bedrooms are both open to the landing, but quite private from each other
