No smoking. . Nestled in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this characterful and quirky, terraced Welsh cottage is situated in the quiet village of Cwm Penmachno. It has a cosy wood burner to keep you warm on the coldest of nights, and although there is no Wi-Fi, mobile phone signal or TV reception (however guests can bring their own DVDs as there is a DVD player in the property), the owner provides a great choice of DVDs to watch – or you can take your own. You can also take your bike and ride one of the many bike trails in the area (bike hire is available nearby), or go walking in the Gwydyr Forest and see the fantastic wildlife! Thrill seekers will love Zip World Fforest, with its amazing treetop nets, in the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed, whilst you can do the same at Bounce Below in Blaenau Ffestiniog but deep underground in an old slate cavern, or even soar overhead on the world’s largest zip wire zone! If you’re a surf dude, then Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon, is only 16 miles away and is great for catching a wave, or a coffee and a cake! The Ffestiniog Railway, Portmeirion and Porthmadog are all within easy reach, as is Conwy and Llandudno. Shop 3 miles, pub 4 miles and restaurant 8 miles.
Restricted headroom in both bedrooms. Bedroom 2 is only accessed through bedroom 1. The single beds are suitable for children only. The TV is for DVD use only; please bring your own DVDs. Please note there is no mobile phone signal, TV reception or Wi-Fi at this property.
There is a car rally taking place on 04/10/2018 & 05/10/2018, so they road in and out of the village may be busy. A pass will be required to drive through the village (available from the owner).
