This delightful semi-detached cottage, Dolydd, lies within the Snowdonia National Park in the charming village of Trefriw. Not far from Betws-y-Coed and Llanrwst, Dolydd makes a wonderful base for two couples or a small family to enjoy an adventurous trip to North Wales, with storage for bikes making it ideal for cyclists and mountain bikers. Take the three steps up into the property and venture into the living/dining room, with the cottage once being a shop, it still benefits from the large picture windows to the front boasting lovely countryside views. Relax on the sofas in here placed before the window and the Smart TV, with a dining table to the rear settled by the woodburning stove. Head through to the kitchen to find all the essentials for your self-catered stay, including an electric double oven and a dishwasher. Take the stairs to the first floor and come upon two lovely bedrooms, the first featuring two single beds which can be made into a super-king-size on request, making the property ideal for both couples and friends or families, and the master bedroom with a king-size bed and stunning countryside views. Freshen up after a muddy mountain biking excursion in the shower room, with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. From the back door, find the external bike store and set off via the side gate access. The area is excellent for cycling and mountain biking, with the winding rural roads ideal for road-cycling, complete with challenging Tour de France style climbs, while mountain bikers can look forward to enchanting forest trails and epic mountain scenery, the well known Gwydyr Mawr and Gwydyr Bach mountain bike trails and walking routes are just 2.5 miles from the cottage, the area is also very popular for its 'Trefriw Trails' which consists of a series of nine waymarked walking trails of varying lengths starting and finishing in the village itself. The village of Trefriw is on your doorstep, home to a good selection of pubs and shops, with scenic beauty spots just around the corner like Fairy Falls waterfalls nearby. Venture down to the popular and picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, with more charming local shops and businesses to visit here, as well as the epic activity centre of Zip World Fforest, home to zip-lines, a zip safari, skyrides and a fforest coaster! Further excitement can be found in Blaenau Ffestiniog at Zip World Slate Caverns as you fly through the air on Titan 2, a zip line over a former slate mine reaching speeds of 70MPH, as well as the incredible bounce below trampolines within the caverns. Soak up the amazing scenery of Snowdonia without moving a muscle by taking a journey on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway, or for those who relish a challenge, plan a hike up Snowdon itself or one of the surrounding mountains. Adventure Parc Snowdonia is another great attraction, home to one of the only inland surfing lagoons Surf Snowdonia, as well as some excellent indoor climbing walls. Make epic memories you won't forget in North Wales at Dolydd.
