For golf lovers, Royal St Davids links golf course is close by and an absolute must, and Harlech swimming pool and climbing wall is a great place for children and adults. When you've had enough of the beach, head inland and enjoy the myriad of footpaths and outdoor pursuits that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer. Barmouth, Porthmadog, and the world-famous Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion are all within easy access and well worth a visit. And for something a little more adrenaline fuelled, Zip World Titan, Caverns and Bounce Below are located at Blaenau Ffestiniog, a 20 minute drive away. Situated in a magnificent position the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks.
