Hope Cottage is in a quiet location within the quiet Cotswold village of Naunton. It was ideal for my wife and I plus our dog. We were looking to spend a week in the Cotswolds, and Hope Cottage fitted the bill perfectly, as it has 1 bedroom, a large bathroom, a compact (but adequate) lounge, a spacious kitchen and an small enclosed back garden. During the week the outside temperature was up to 34 Celsius, yet the cottage remained cool due to its thick stone walls and small windows. Naunton is an ideal location for touring the various towns and villages of the Cotswolds, most of which are only a matter of minutes driving time away. The Black Horse pub (serving meals as well as drinks) is only a 1 minute walk from the cottage.

Lovely cottage, great welcome hamper. Friendly pub a minutes walk away - what’s not to like. The only reason it’s not a “5” is because the shower wasn’t working (which we knew about before we went)

Loverly property. When we arrived we found all the basics - tea coffee bread butter cheese etc -The house was clean and warm and very cosy with a wood burner - it was very comfortable. It was fabulous for walking and the village pub was just around the corner - would not hesitate to make further bookings
