Activities are subject to extra charges, and there are lots to choose from with smaller children sure to love the indoor children's soft play area and the cute miniature railway, while all ages can enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool with a splash zone too. Adults can head over to the Marina and relax on the deck overlooking the water with a refreshing drink, while lots of scenic picnic spots by the lakes are perfect for a little adventure and lunch alfresco. For some peace and tranquility, head to the fishing tackle shop and get set up for an afternoon casting a line, before joining the rest of your group to finish the day with some of the evening entertainment. Explore your surroundings further by heading into the heart of Northampton and discover an array of history here along with more attractions and open spaces; visit the Charles Rennie Mackintosh House, the only house in England designed by the modernist architect, or head to the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery to soak up the local history and culture. Embark on an exciting trip along the Northampton & Lamport Railway, a restored heritage track which runs steam and diesel powered rides. The Brixworth Country Park is well worth visiting too, along with Icarus Falconry, Irchester Country Park and Hunsbury Hill. For a truly memorable experience, head to Silverstone Circuit, renowned as the home of British Motor Racing, where if you time it right, motorheads can catch a glimpse of the exhilarating Grand Prix event held in July. Unfortunately the Wifi didn't work even though we had the code. Took us a while a get the tv on, plug underneath needs switching on then a button on the back of the tv needs pressing, remote didn't work for turning on and off! We used the swimming pool twice, £15 per visit for a family of 4 but you can get a weekly pass for £35 which we only found out about afterwards, the pool was good and clean, kids loved it, need to book the day before though! Arcades and fair was good for younger kids too!

It was 5 of us, 3 young children. It is sited a long way from the camp sites and for the weekend we were there, Aug bank holiday, we had no issue with resident noise. My wife and I are on the larger side and there was plenty of room for us. Reasonable strength wifi also available in the caravan The park is large so expect to walk a lot, although there are plenty of car parks All activities in the park are extra, apart from a couple of small childrens play areas dotted around the caravans, but everything else you pay for. There is a small shop on the site that sells the essentials and although not tesco prices, does sell at reasonable prices.
