Soak up the views from the Bassenthwaite Lake Viewing Point (6.5 miles) and take your four-legged friends for a sniff around Dodd Wood (1.5 miles). The market town of Keswick is 5.5 miles away and is an excellent place for an array of rainy-day activities like museums and a theatre.
