This is a lovely cottage, with views, and grounds to die for. The location is isolated, has tranquility, and is amongst lots of wildlife with stunning views. Over Brandlehow is cosey, relaxing, and exceptionally clean. But . . . . My only niggle, is the outlay of the kitchen, which could’ve had a bit more thought into. Theres hardly any storage space, for putting away groceries. And I don’t really think the small baskets cut it for me. And unless you’re quite tall also?? You’re going to somewhat struggle to get at the crockery. Cutlery was partitioned away from the kitchen, under a notice board. And another question I could pose, is why do we have a plastic spatula covered in paint?? Apart from the above mentioned, yes we had a fantastic, and would return. I’d like to take this opportunity, to thank the owners, for allowing us into a great property.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location! , the cottage is set up very well , kitchen has everything you need with nice high surfaces. Air con was a great feature as the week we stayed the weather was glorious so helped on the warmer nights. So nice having the patio area which has stunning views, you are literally sat right in the mountains! Great area to dry clothes as well. The cottage is really nice and quiet away from public areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and you would have to be really scraping the barrel to find any negatives.
