Dine at the pretty wooden dining table, whether a romantic meal for two or a gathering with friends, and afterwards on a summer evening take some drinks out into your enclosed courtyard where outdoor seating awaits, perfect on balmy nights. Whilst you're there, find the Fusiliers Museum of Northumberland located within a 14th century town of the castle, home to exhibits detailing 350 years of history, whilst the Bailiffgate Museum nearby is the perfect place to learn about the history of Alnwick and the local area with interactive exhibits hosted within a beautiful 19th century church. Visit the recently refurbished Playhouse theatre with films and live shows and Barter books is another attraction not to be missed, one of the biggest book shops in britain, well worth a visit!
