This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches.

But the general condition of the cottage left a lot to be desired. It needed a thorough clean and redecorating. Never been in a holiday rental that didn't provide washing up liquid and hand-wash. General lack if cleaning products. Also too many petty little notices but no information about what to do with bedding etc.

Quite location just a short walk to the beach and pubs/restaurants.. The cottage it's self was spacious enough for Great Dane to be comfy. Every thing you need in the kitchen. Comfortable sofas and beds. Lovely clean bathroom with a great over the bath shower. Plenty hot water. The lawn in the enclosed garden could do with a cut. Not easy to clean up after the dog. Our only other issue would be the pillows on the double bed very flat. Apart from that we had a lovely weeks stay and will definitely book here again.
