A short drive will take you to Hexham, a bustling market town with a 7th century abbey, shops, restaurants and supermarkets, and if you venture slightly further, you will find the A69 or the Military Road, perfect for exploring Hadrian’s Wall country. The delights of the Heritage Coastline and Newcastle are all within easy reach, making this a great location for exploring this magnificent county at any time of the year.
