Hayfield is located at the north eastern edge of the Peak District National Park, making it off the beaten track compared to some regions. The north of the Peak District is emptier, starkly beautiful, and attractive to those that shun the crowds. There are some great day trips to be had in the area, so make sure Blue John Cavern, Chatsworth House, Buxton Spring, Lyme Park and the Pennine Way are on your radar.
