This property enjoys a rural location in the village of Alciston in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. The ideal location for keen walkers or those who simply want to escape all the stresses of daily life guests here can easily enjoy the three-mile walk up to Firle Beacon where they will be rewarded with spectacular views. The neighbouring village of Alfriston is home to several pubs and shops and nine miles away is the traditional seaside resort of Eastbourne. Lewes is some eight miles away a beautiful historic town with many independent shops and eateries. This property can be found in a secluded location overlooking fields making it the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The front door of the property opens into the main living space an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has a dining table seating two comfortable sofa seating a TV and patio doors which open onto the tranquil outside seating area. The kitchen area at the far-end of the room offers an oven hob microwave and fridge/freezer should guests prefer to eat-in rather than to sample the local country pubs. The one bedroom is a pleasant double which has patio doors offering views of the South Downs a wonderful way to start the day. There is also a built-in wardrobe as well as door which leads through to the en-suite bathroom with its shower over bath and WC. Please note that due to the rural location Free WiFi is only available outside the main house. Outside there is a decked seating area to the front of the property which is accessed through the patio doors in either the lounge or the bedroom which affords stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
