We had a lovely stay in Belmont House. 5 big bedrooms, a great location near town and a Coop within a few hundred metres on the highstreet. Very pleased.

Belmont House is ideally situated for a family holiday, it’s close to local shops, cafes, supermarkets as well as a park and minutes from the sea and the railway station. Parking is limited to one hour outside the house but there are neighbouring streets or car parks to leave your car. We used the very regular train service to travel up the coast.The house is comfortable and everyone felt relaxed however we would have preferred an extra sofa, really only seating for 6 plus two small chairs.The kitchen had plenty of basic cooking ingredients. We felt the house description was slightly incorrect. The first floor has two bedrooms each with an en suite bath/shower room whilst the second floor has three bedrooms and one shared shower room. This didn’t affect our stay but it may be useful to update the description for future holiday makers.Overall a lovely home and a fabulous location for a family holiday

Belmont House was a great option for our family gathering. 5 good sized bedrooms with a large dining table. There was a problem with the boiler but that was quickly resolved, communication was good. The house is very well located with the town and beach within easy walking distance. Parking is an issue even in February and probably would be worse in the summer. You can park for an hour to unload but watch the time as wardens around.
