This property lies in the pretty village of Firfield, which is lined with chocolate box cottages and a 13th century church, with an early English chancel still present. There is a lovely gastro pub a little further down the road in Nether Westcote. The neighbouring village of Idbury, high up on a ridge looks out over the Evenlode Valley, just five miles from Burford and Stow on the Wold. This ancient town of Burford, known as the gateway to the Cotswolds, offers an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from and the fascinating history around the town is well worth exploring. This is a fantastic central location right in the heart of Shakespeare s Country.
