Seaton is situated about midway between the lovely seaside resorts of Lyme Regis in West Dorset and Sidmouth in East Devon, on the famous Jurassic coast and the stunning South West coast footpath. The popular Seaton Tramway, running along the Axe estuary, stops nearby offering a relaxing way to discover the local area. For those that enjoy a culinary treat, celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage shop and restaurant is a short drive away in the East Devon market town of Axminster. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with many wonderful inland footpaths nearby as well as the stunning South West Coast Path running along this section of the Jurassic Coast.
