Set on 12 acres of farmland, this traditional countryside cottage has everything you could want for a tranquil nature getaway with its vaulted beamed ceiling, cosy wood burner and tranquil mezzanine area. Up to four guests and two canine companions can enjoy a stay in rural Shropshire with the national park, a handful of quaint market towns and historic attractions nearby. You’ll also have access to the magnificent onsite rustic wooden cabin with a bar, a darts board and a kitchen.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel the welcoming and homely atmosphere created by the chic furnishings, wooden beamed ceiling and blue tones throughout. Beneath the mezzanine is a comfortable lounge with a wood burner, a sofa and an armchair. On the other side of the room, an elegant wooden and white dining table sits in front of a white-washed Welsh dresser. The stylish, farmhouse-style one-wall kitchen has wooden countertops, blue cabinets and pretty patterned tilling. Also on the ground floor is a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom and a shower room. Climb the stairs to reach a mezzanine play/reading area plus an en-suite super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom with a rainforest-style shower. Outside is a private decking area with furniture and a BBQ. Guests can also enjoy use of the wooden cabin, which is shared with neighbouring properties and contains a bar, a wood burner, a darts board, a kitchen and a sheltered terrace with a dining table.

Stroll around the pond and farmland surrounding the property. Visit the nearby historic market town of Ludlow (9 miles) and explore the Norman Ludlow Castle before walking along the River Terne and stopping for a bite to eat at one of the traditional pubs. Venture into the Shropshire Hills National Landscape and soak up the panoramic views from Cleehill Summit (5.5 miles).

- 2 bedrooms, a ground floor king-size bedroom and an en-suite king size bedroom upstairs (both beds can be adjusted to twins on request at time of booking)

- Each bedroom has its own shower room

- Open plan living space with well equipped kitchen with Fridge/freezer, oven/gas hob, dishwasher

- Wood burning stove (first basket of logs included)

- Caterers available should you prefer someone else to do the cooking

- Use of own decking to the east of the cottage, including table and chairs and a brand new charcoal Wella BBQ.

- A hot tub can be made available through hiring in from a local company. If you wish to book a hot tub for your stay then please contact the owner.

- Please be aware that the garden for neighbouring properties Ludlow Barn and Tenbury Cottage is not fenced separately, you have your own designated garden areas that are separated by rope

- If you require a Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday booking please enquire with the Team and we will check and advise if we can accommodate

- New “Wellness Area” now open consisting of a beautiful Baltic wood-fired sauna with stunning countryside views a cold plunge tub. An outdoor cold-water shower and a seating area for guests to enjoy between our beautiful old pair of pear trees. The health benefits of hot and cold therapy include improved immunity, relaxation, reduction of stress, relief of pain and much more. To hire the space, please contact the owners direct in advance of your stay. There is a one off cost of £50 - £75 to use this facility for the duration of your stay.

- Please Note: Tenbury Cottage is given as a priority to Redford Farm Barns and is only available to book in short notice periods or if Ludlow Barn is booked
