Guests praise its comfort, well-equipped kitchen, and friendly, helpful owners. The cottage is dog-friendly and offers excellent access to scenic walks and local attractions. Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, though a few mentioned minor issues such as dust, bathroom hairs, or the need for a deeper clean in some areas. These were generally outweighed by positive comments on overall cleanliness.

A great location and just a short drive to the nearby village of Todmorden which has several pubs and supermarkets. The owners, Penny and Nigel, have put a lot of work into renovating the cottage and were friendly and welcoming on our arrival. They were on hand to help with any queries when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks also to their son George who helped with working the tv! The cottage was well supplied with cleaning / kitchen essentials, games, blankets etc., beds were comfortable and nice to have 2 bathrooms plus downstairs toilet. Lovely to have the option of a woodburner stove and to have a basket of firewood supplied. We recommend this cottage as a relaxing place to stay and plan to stay for another visit in the near future.

We felt completely at home during our stay and would happily stay here again. If you have a big SUV, you might find it tight parking by the house. You can use the winter carpark at the bottom of the hill. It is a lovely, if bracing, walk up the pack horse track, but there will be a comfy sofa and a roaring fire at the top. The water pressure and heating system are fantastic. We had no problems with the cooker, washer/drier, dishwasher. Five stars!

Its ideal for a large family and has very thing you need .The only thing that let the cottage down was it needed to be a little more cleaner, but apart from that, the cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay .
