The whole property has an air of elegance and history, with dark wood, exposed stone and quirky features adding character to each and every room. The farmhouse-style kitchen is equipped with a double oven and ample space to prepare a feast fit for a king, as well as a casual dining table seating six in the centre. For grand dinners, the formal dining room is a perfect location, with original flooring and panelled walls setting the scene. Upstairs, each of the bedrooms has its own flair, starting off with the master bedroom, furnished with a glorious four-poster, king-size bed for an element of luxury. Next door is a twin room which can be made up as a super-king-size upon request, and also benefits from an en-suite bathroom. On the second floor are a further two bedrooms, with two further versatile twin beds, one of which has an adjoining nursery and en-suite making it a fantastic option for families. During the warmer months of the year, the garden is full of life, surrounded by mature plants to create an idyllic setting for a meal, as well as garden games to be played on the lawn.

Whilst staying in the area, it is worth paying a visit to one of the pretty market towns, including Abergavenny (3 miles) where you’ll find a wonderful array of eateries to indulge at, alongside a lovely selection of independent shops. For those who love to be near water, Llandegfedd Reservoir lies 11 miles south of the property, with a wide array of activities bookable at the centre, as well as picturesque walking trails and perfect picnic spots.
