Well equipped. Ideally located for trips into Scarborough and Filey. Close to Dalby Forest and plenty of walks. Negatives: outside light not working so difficult to see. Reported but not fixed. Television remote could do with replacing. Couch was really uncomfortable as were the beds. We actually came home one night early because of it. Electrics tripped off on the second night. Tried to ring 'Sam' (the number in the folder left in the lodge) twice about it but she never rang back. Had to walk up to the onsite pub to ask for help. Some of the windows in the lodge were missing nets/curtains which would have helped with privacy. We ended up putting a sheet up at the lodge door on a night time. More privacy around the hot tub area would have been beneficial. Socket next to the dressing table didn't work.

It has obviously just been taken over as the kettle, toaster, microwave were all brand new aswell as the cutlery, plates etc. The bed had a plastic bed protector which was uncomfortable to sleep on . A new tv remote is needed. The draws on the wardrobes need sorted the outside light needs fixing to gain access to the hot tub, electric socket in the main bedroom next to the vanity mirror needs fixing for hair drier use and a plug for the little toilet sink for shaving, washing and having to constantly run water . All these little things are easy fixed but didn't spoil our overall stay as the Lodge was lovely
