We had an amazing time at Warrington Mews. The cottage is very well equipped and has a lovely homely feel to it. Sophie has clearly put a lot of thought into the decor and it certainly shows. The cottage is in a great location for walking into Thornton Le Dale and is nicely hidden away so that its lovely and quiet on an evening. Its a great base to explore Whitby, Scarborough, Filey for a day at the coast. Dalby Forest is on the doorstep and Pickering is a lovely town to have a walk around. We would highly recommend!

The property description stated that it was pet friendly when it was NOT.I received a welcome text message from the owner hoping we had a good holiday and that pets are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. If hairs are found or paw prints evident we would be charged £ 60! ( I wasn't expecting that )My dog has the run of my house, as I am sure other dogs too.He cried all night, not understanding what he had done wrong. Neither of us had any sleep. The property description said that fuel for the log burner was included? There were 3 logs and 5 pieces of kindling.I did begrudgingly buy one bag and we decided to brave the cold.We stayed 4 night and left early. This was a very expensive short break.Other than that the property was ok.
