A charming and recently refurbished duplex apartment settled on the coast in Whitby, North Yorkshire just moments away from Whitby Train and bus station. This pet-friendly cottage is conveniently placed for those wanting to easily explore what Whitby has to offer including the beach and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Upon arrival, make your way up the smaller flight of stairs to find the kitchen/diner, a well-equipped space hosting everything the chef of the group requires to whip up tasty treats; After dinner progress up a set of steps to find the sitting room, which enjoys views of the historical train station, and relax on the plush seating and watch TV. The apartment has a fitted bathroom which consists of WC, bath and separate walk-in shower and can be found on the second floor. After a long day exploring, retreat to the bathroom and enjoy a long shower or soak in the bath with a glass of wine in hand, looking up at the stars through the Velux window (and if you look closely, you can see the Abbey). As the day draws to a close, choose one of the two charming bedrooms to retire to, a king and a twin room, both with fresh white linen and a wall mounted TV in each room. The apartment rests in a fantastic location, as a wealth of eateries and shops can be found on your doorstep, including the friendly pub of The Station Inn, where you can enjoy a hearty lunch before exploring the delights the town has to offer. These include the Whitby Museum which can be found in the heart of Pannett Park, or walk the historic 199 Steps, which can be climbed to view Whitby Abbey; don't forget to pay the town's charming beach a visit! For a relaxing outing, be sure to visit Robin Hood's Bay, where an array of tea rooms and bistros can be found for you to sample, along with a small beach and the intriguing Robin Hood's Bay Museum. Sandsend also has plenty to offer and if you walk there you can choose to jump on the bus back. Sandsend also has a large stretch of beach where your four-legged friend can enjoy a run and dip in the sea all year round. Station View is a lovely property that once you have stayed, you will want to return to again.

Whitby is a charming coastal town in North Yorkshire that is teeming with history and natural beauty. The focal point of the town is Whitby Abbey, a ruined monastery that overlooks the harbor. The 199 Steps lead down from the abbey to the harbor, and are a popular attraction in their own right. Whitby Museum is also worth a visit, as it contains a wealth of information about the town's history. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation in Whitby, such as hiking and fishing, and the town's location makes it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

    It's virtually just over the road. The parked buses invariably left their engines running, so noise an issue, certainly could not have a open window and a conversation at the same time, I expect in summer this issue would be worse. To move around in the property you had to negotiate 2.5 sets of full stairs, this would be an issue for a lot of people. It has no parking, with double yellow lines outside the access, so loading / unloading was an issue. It is very central, with pubs, takeaways, restaurants, coffee shops, bakery at easy reach and close to the harbour, so your in the thick of a busy beautiful seaside resort.

    very friendly owner. the town just outside the door. straight of the bus cross the road then you are in your apartment. would be nice to have another smaller table in the lounge. will book again.

    Excellent accommodation exceedingly clean and well located for shops pub’s restaurants etc met the owner Chris outside his shop nearby who kindly guided us to the premises and also helpfully even carried our case up to the apartment We can highly recommend this property Maureen,Alan and little Sophie our dog
