Annsmuir park is a lovely area of Scotland and is very good for a peaceful relaxing break . Great place for a walk, good paths and plenty of wildlife to see. Far enough away from the main road to allow your dog some freedom off the lead. The paths are ideal for biking too but watch out for people and animals. Adjacent to the park is Ladybank Golf Course which is set in very attractive parkland and offers a superb 18 hole golf course and a clubhouse offering fine dining whilst overlooking the 1st tee, 9th and 18th greens. Ladybank Golf Club is synonymous with The Open Championship Qualifying. One of the premier courses in the UK, it has hosted final Open qualifying on seven occasions since 1978 when The Open Championship was played at St Andrews.
For shopping requirements, there are two small supermarkets in Ladybank, just half a mile away, and Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl in Cupar and Glenrothes.
St Andrews town centre also offers many varied shops including Next, Monsoon and Fat Face to name but a few.
Ladybank, just a half-mile away, is also home to a comprehensive health centre, post office and library.
