Secluded in the Strathcarron Glen, you're surrounded by exquisite nature, rare wildlife and superlative local produce. Take a tour of the Glenmorangie Distillery (13 miles), visit magnificent Dunrobin Castle and Gardens (24 miles) and the sublime scenery of Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve (17 miles). Ardgay and Bonar Bridge (2 miles) have post offices, shops and cafes and Ardgay has a railway station with trains to Inverness (28 miles) and up the coast to Wick (74 miles).
Offering day trips to Orkney and Skye, Inverness is a magnificent city with a castle and cathedral and some superb independent shops, pubs, galleries, museums and eateries.
