Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet.  Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and broadband included.  Initial logs for wood burner included.  .  Enclosed rear garden with patio, garden furniture.  2 dogs welcome.  Private parking for 2 cars; additional on road parking.  No smoking. .  April Cottage is situated in the popular country village of Gordon, which boasts a café and a public house serving great home cooked food during the day.  There is a well-stocked mini market and pub that serves evening meals in Greenlaw (4 miles).  A wider range of shops and supermarkets can be found in Kelso (8 miles), and Galashiels (15 miles).  The cottage is very well presented and dates to the mid-1800s where it was originally a stable and then converted into cottages in the 1920s, retaining all the charm of its period features with a rendered front face and the original local stone to the rear. 

The garden area is enclosed and private with a patio offering space for al fresco drinks and dining.  Inside there is an open plan living/dining room with a cosy wood burner aesthetic wooden floors and French doors leading to the garden.  The kitchen is small but well-equipped with a good level of appliances, providing everything you could need to rustle up hearty home cooked meals.  On the first floor is a comfortable kingsize bedroom and a single bedroom, both served by a family bathroom.  Two private parking space are available to the front of the property.
