All ground floor, this Borders cottage has a king-size double bedroom and a spacious shower room. The living accommodation at this Jedburgh cottage provides all the essentials with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with dining area boasting French doors that open onto a pretty front veranda with furniture. Set in the owner's mature grounds, this Borders log cabin faces south across a shared lawn, the ideal spot to relax with a drink after a day spent exploring. A further two acres of field sit alongside this Jedburgh log cabin, offering ample space for the dog to play on a summer's evening. In addition to the plentiful walking, cycling and fishing opportunities available amidst wonderful scenery, the town of Jedburgh and the surrounding areas offer a wealth of attractions. The 12th century abbey plus nearby stately homes including Abbotsford House, Traquair House and Floors Castle provide exciting, historical day trips, while the Cashmere Centre in Hawick and The Lochcarron Mill Visitor Centre in Selkirk offer a glimpse into the fascinating traditional industry. The historic town of Jedburgh lies 10 miles inside the Scottish Border, situated half way between Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh.
