The delightful Orme Villa is perched high up on the Great Orme headland, with stunning views down the promenade and over the whole of the town of Llandudno. The outside terrace is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine, try some al fresco dining and take in the stunning views. Inside the villa, the wonderful dining hall is at the centre of this lovely property, with the living room opening off it, again with lovely views. There’s a great kitchen with a dining area too, together with a spacious contemporary bathroom on the ground floor.

It’s a short downhill walk into the restaurant quarter of town for some delicious food - and if you’ve eaten too much to walk back, you can take a taxi back up the hill! Orme Villa is also only a short walk from Halfway Station on the Great Orme Tramway, where you can catch a cable operated tram down into town, or up to the summit of the headland from where there are glorious views out to sea - on a clear day you can even see the Isle of Man! The amazing Bronze Age Copper Mine is also within walking distance and well worth a visit to find out about the history of the area. Much of the Great Orme Country Park can be explored using public footpaths, and you may be lucky enough to meet one the Kashmiri goats that roam the Great Orme. There’s also the UK’s longest cable car ride to the summit, together with a dry ski slope and toboggan run.

Down in Llandudno town centre, you’ll find a full range of shops, plus Venue Cymru theatre offering an excellent range of theatre and musicals throughout the year, plus concerts from local Welsh choirs in some of the nearby churches. The town boasts two beaches - the busier North Shore with Wales’ longest pier, offering boat trips out around the bay, and the quieter, sandier West Shore. Further afield is the historic town of Conwy with its Edward I castle and almost complete town walls, a unesco World Heritage Site. The historic houses of the National Trusts Aberconwy House and Plas Mawr are well worth a visit. In the Conwy Valley is the delightful National Trust garden at Bodnant which is an amazing 80 acres of horticultural delight just waiting to be explored. Further down the valley is the market town of Llanrwst, and pretty Betws-y-Coed, known as the Gateway to Snowdonia, which is also home to Zip World Fforest, where you can zoom through the trees on the amazing Fforest Coaster. At Colwyn Bay you’ll find the Welsh Mountain Zoo, whilst if you can’t get enough of the Welsh coastline, there’s 125 miles of rocky coves and sandy beaches waiting for you on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
