About this property

6 Uppergate Street Rose Cottage is a gorgeous cottage resting in the heart of Conwy. Perfect for couples seeking a coastal break, this abode boasts an open-plan layout, a Smart TV, and is close to plenty of amenities and the beach. Park the car and make your way to your new abode, set near the walls of Conwy Castle. Enter into the heart of the home, the charming open-plan living area, with pleasing decor, features, and the warmth of the underfloor heating. The mushroom-coloured kitchen is contemporary and provides all the amenities to whisk up a romantic meal for your loved one, utilise the fridge and freezer to chill your favourite beverages, and use the dishwasher available to help with any mess left behind. Dine at the neat dining area set for two with pretty Blue Italian Spode crockery laid out. The flickering of the gas fire calls you to the living area after your delicious meal. The cream and blue colours throughout this space are appealing, with the quaint patterned curtains matching the cushions on the loveseats, and more Blue Spode Italian crockery on display on the walls and neatly placed around this area. Flick on the Smart TV to play your favourite songs as you catch up or enjoy a film. Climb the fuzzy stairs when you get tired; there is a plush king-size four-poster bed, with more blue and cream colours and stylish artwork in this space. Freshen up in the sleek shower room with a rustic and stylish cupboard with double basins and a large rainfall shower, with the dressing room nearby, available as another space to freshen up. Take a short stroll to Conwy Castle, a 13th century fortress, climb the spiral staircase to be met with picturesque views of the estuary as you walk the walls, view the town and walk across the suspension bridge for more pleasing views. Get lost in the sand dunes at Conwy Morfa Beach, enjoy an ice cream as you feel the coastal breeze against your skin, with stunning mountain views whilst laying on the golden sand. Take a short drive to Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), take a steam train, trek the mountains, or paddle in the lakes. There are plenty of outdoor activities to tickle your fancy in this spectacular national park. 6 Uppergate Street Rose Cottage provides everything you need for a romantic break in Conwy.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns to enjoy
