Aberdaron 4.2 miles. Lying down a private road in the rural village of Pengroeslon on the stunning Llyn Peninsula is this beautiful detached cottage, Bryn Awel. Enjoying a history dating back to the late 19th century, offering a peaceful location from which to explore the wonders of the Llyn Heritage Coast, and not far from the seaside villages of Aberdaron and Penllech. After making your way up the private drive and parking up in the ample space, step through the pretty garden gate and take in the tranquil surroundings, with views out to Rhiw Mountain. Enter into the sitting room and admire the original Victorian tiled flooring, with a woodburning stove in here to warm you while you relax on the sofas and armchair after a day of adventures. A utility cupboard in here holds the washing machine, while stepping through to the kitchen/diner brings you to a host of appliances to assist you in your self-catered stay, including an electric oven and hob and handy dishwasher, with a dining area at the conservatory area of the room, presenting a great spot to enjoy your meals with a view. A TV can be found in both the sitting room and the dining area so you can wind down with some evening TV, or get settled on one of the soft seats in the dining area with a good book. Also on the ground floor is one of the four bedrooms, this one being a double with an en-suite wet room, presenting the ideal sleeping spot for those with limited mobility. Head upstairs to find three more bedrooms, including two doubles both with ornate feature Victorian fireplaces, along with a single room with a trundle bed beneath, with all offering pretty countryside views from the window to wake up to. Find a spacious bathroom to get ready in, whether you prefer a relaxing soak in the tub with a handheld shower too, or a quick wash in the walk-in shower, you can decide how to prepare for your day. Spend time outside in the extensive and large garden, with plenty of lawn space to enjoy some outdoor games with the children and dogs, as well as seating to relax on, offering a scenic and private setting for all. For any essentials you need, head to the seaside village of Aberdaron, just over four miles away, it is home to a local shop as well as a pub in The Ship Hotel, with some cafés to stop in for lunch when you're enjoying a sunny beach day. The beautiful mile-long beach is perfect for an array of watersports, including surfing, windsurfing, sailing and kayaking, or for those who prefer dry land, simply embark on a walk around the Llyn Heritage Coast and take in the wonderful scenery of this unique and rugged coastline. Aberdaron was the last stop for pilgrims heading to the 'Isle of 20,000 Saints' or Bardsey Island, now a National Nature Reserve, take a day trip here with Bardsey Island Boat Trips and explore the island's landmarks and spot wildlife. Discover the popular seaside resort of Abersoch on the south coast, with more lovely beaches plus a great array of bistros and restaurants, ideal for delicious evening outing with your loved ones. Llyn's 'capital', Pwllheli, is a sailing haven, with one of the best modern marinas in the UK, it is host to regattas throughout the year; head out on the water with a coastal cruise to spot the amazing wildlife including seals, seabirds and even dolphins! The country roads and lanes are great for cycling too, and with bike storage at Bryn Awel you can head out on two wheels to explore this peaceful location. Enjoy the secluded and tranquil Bryn Awel on the Llyn Peninsula with your loved ones.
