Llys Andreas Cottage is a superb detached cottage, next to the owners own home, on the outskirts of the coastal village of Talybont in North Wales. The cottage is well positioned on the edge of the village with nearby walks along the Afon Ysgethin River just through the woods with an abundance of wildlife, providing a perfect base for a couple who wish to explore this lovely area. The comfortable and spacious accommodation is all ground floor, which means it may be suitable for those guests who may find stairs challenging. The lovely, homely sitting room has comfy seating you can sink into and relax after a long day of activity, with a dining area providing an ideal place to sit and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or romantic supper.

A well-equipped kitchen with integrated appliances and plenty of worktop space caters for all your needs during your holiday. The spacious bedroom boasts a king-size double bed and the modern bathroom with bath and a shower over completes your holiday cottage. Outside, you have your own private enclosed garden and on those warm summer evenings you can enjoy a nice glass of something chilled on the patio and take in the fresh sea air. A short walk through the gate, taking the bridge over the Afon Ysgethin river will lead you to a lovely country pub, and restaurant and if you fancy a walk to the beach there are bars and restaurants to enjoy there too.

The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is a mile down the road where there are two further pubs, cafes, a garage, shop and local butchers. Barmouth is only five miles away, with its quaint shops, quayside restaurants and Blue Flag beach making a great day out for everyone and just a short drive away, in the other direction you can explore Harlech with its majestic 13th-century castle, now a World Heritage Site, or enjoy a round or two at Royal St. David's golf course. A little further afield are the full delights of the Snowdonia National Park, with picturesque walks, lakes and waterfalls for walkers to enjoy.

This cottage offers a great base and location for a wonderful break all year round.

Talybont rests between the Welsh coast town of Barmouth and the World Heritage Site of Harlech and is surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. Whilst here, you will find an Italian restaurant, a riverside pub and a large sandy beach. Close by is the resort town of Barmouth which houses an array of amenities and attractions, as well as the historic town of Harlech which is dominated by the medieval castle.
