Within 5 miles of sandy beaches on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, these charming, single-storey and south facing cottages offer very comfortable accommodation. Set in the grounds of the owners’ home and on the edge of 8-acres of shared woodland with footpaths that visitors are welcome to roam, they enjoy their own flower filled terrace and garden areas. This delightful corner of Norfolk lies only 5 miles from Cromer’s traditional seaside attractions, including its famous crabs and seasonal end of pier shows, and also within easy reach of Broadland’s fascinating network of tranquil waterways. Day boat hire is readily available for exploring this uniquely lovely conservation area – a National Park in all but name. Easily accessible too are the picturesque fishing villages of the north coast, much loved by sailors and offering rspb reserves, glorious coastal footpath walking and seal watching boat trips, as well as welcoming pubs and restaurants, many of them serving the delicious, locally caught seafood. National Trust properties at Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are within an easy drive as is the medieval city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, galleries, theatres, cinemas and fine shopping. A choice of golf courses can be found within 5 miles. There are a number of pubs offering a warm welcome and hearty food, the nearest shops are at Roughton, 2 miles.. Lovely cottage the bedrooms are a bit small, the beds were really comfortable we all had a good nights sleep every night and having the enclosed garden was a big plus for our dog Ruby. It was also nice to have the woods to walk around. Big thank you to Paula for being so accommodating especially as I am a wheelchair user. We may book again in the near future into the wheelchair accessible cottage just for the room sizes and the roll in shower instead of a bath. This one would be ideal for us if it had an enclosed garden. Sometimes you have to make a compromise.

Lovely little quiet place to stay. Lovely enclosed garden for dogs to run around. This place is not far from cromer, ideally you need to be able to drive to get to all of the amenities, nice area adjacent to cottage to park the car. Nice woodland area for the dogs to explore but is heavily dense with bark and pincones. Cottage is clean and it was a lovely thought on arrival to have a bake cake and a pint of milk would stay again.

Our second stay here. All we needed in a very comfortable cottage. A fully enclosed garden and nearby woods for walks with our retired greyhound.Not far to nearby towns and dog friendly pubs. Owners very helpful and friendly. Would love to visit again.
