Between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks, in the upper Eden Valley, is the historic market town of Kirkby Stephen. For every taste and price range, the typical market town offers a choice of stores, cafes, restaurants, and bars. It has cobbled old yards, charming corners, and a lovely picnic area where "Frank's Bridge" crosses the River Eden. A mile from the town, the old railway station connects to the magnificent Settle-Carlisle Railway line, a must-do travel experience for everyone. So quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but just a 5 min walk and close enough to hear the lovely church bells on a Sunday Morning! The house is immaculately clean and modern with all the facilities you would expect. The added bonus of a welcome bottle of wine and treats for our 4 legged friends was the icing on the cake! Kirkby Stephen is a beautiful town with lots of high street shops, quaint pubs and cafes. The coop is a 5 min walk away. Once you arrive the car can stay where it is and charge where it is too! There are so many lovely walks from the door step including the farm shop and cafe! We had a wonderful week, real family time and we will definitely be back!

It's a lovely clean, well equiped modern holiday home with easy access to the town's amenities and local walks. It has a very large enclosed garden which our dog loved especially when he caught sight of some visiting rabbits! Although I would suggest putting a door mat on the floor infront of the french doors for when you come in from the garden. The complimentary wine and chocolates were much appreciated and we hope to visit again.

Lovely and clean, modern and a great large garden which is fully enclosed for dogs. Very near to local shops and a few great pubs with home made food. I received a lovely phone call from the owner saying the house was ready for us and wishing us a happy stay.
