The popular market town of Clitheroe is just 10 miles away with many individual shops, cafés, restaurants and a Norman castle.Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Perfect place for me, my husband and our Jack Russell. It’s beautiful and quiet. The road up to the house is pretty awful but once you are there is lovely. The owns are also very lovely, will definitely stay there again.

Very relaxing time, far from the maddening crowd, but not to far, actually very central for lots of adventures. The accommodation is very comfy and larger than we expected, overall we would love one day too go back.

Really fabulous location for a holiday with a dog. Beautiful view, comfortable lodgings. Takeaway 5 mins away was great too (Agra). The drive up to the property was a bit bumpy, but we were given prior warning of that! Would definitely book again.
