Nestled on the edge of a working vineyard with outstanding, far-reaching views, the converted Stables offer couples or solo travellers an ideal based to explore this beautiful area which covers the Romney Marsh and is within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk to the local pet-friendly 14th century inn with log fires and seasonal menus. The property is close to the Saxon Shore Way making this an excellent choice for walkers while cyclists can enjoy peddling around the country lanes. Tenterden (7 miles) is known as the ‘jewel in the Weald’ with historic architecture, traditional pubs and an independent high street and the boarding point for the Kent and East Sussex Railway. Historic Rye (5 miles) and Camber Sands (9 miles), both offer something special, Rye with its cobbled streets full of antique shops and cafes and Camber with its rugged dunes and seven miles of golden sands.
Entry is by the side door into the utility area which is ideal for storing your boots and coats and wiping muddy paws! The shower room is here which is handy for drying off and showering after a soak in the hot tub. The main living area is open plan with underfloor heating throughout, with double doors opening out onto an undercover front patio area. From here there are far-reaching vineyard views across a communal play area which has shared use of outdoor table tennis. The interior is light filled and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and high stools, perfect for preparing food and a catch up after an enjoyable day out. The living room is well furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and footstool, a coffee table, and a Smart TV. The bedroom is next door and has a king size bed, built-in wardrobes, and a dressing table. The property is all on one level. At the end of the property there is a private fenced garden, part laid to lawn. There is garden furniture, two deckchairs and a charcoal BBQ for lazy days. Relax in the hot tub at the end of the day and enjoy this most beautiful location surrounded by rolling countryside views.
The Stables is situated on a working vineyard and is part of Churchlands Farm which comprises three other properties, all of which can be booked in conjunction for larger parties.
