Situated in a quiet location in the small East Devon town of Colyton, this one-bedroom traditional stone-built Devon cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for couples or small families (use of a double sofa-bed in the lounge is available - please request when booking). Located in the grounds of the owners' 15th century thatched bed & breakfast, this is one of four cottages converted from former farm buildings to provide well-equipped self-catering accommodation in a wonderful location. One well behaved dog will be very welcome and visitors have use of a lovely mature garden and patio area - an ideal spot to sit and relax. Private car parking provided.

Location

Colyton is a pretty little town with a village atmosphere on the banks of the river Coly in the beautiful Axe Valley. As well as many attractive Devon cottages, there are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants tucked away among the thatched cottages and many glorious walks in the surrounding countryside. Only a few minutes drive from the stunning East Devon and West Dorset coastlines, the seaside towns of Seaton, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are all within easy reach.

Layout

Attached cottage on two floors - ground floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bathroom with shower over bath, w.c. and utility cupboard housing a washer/dryer. First floor: Open plan living area with double sofa-bed, TV/DVD and Freeview, dining area and newly fitted kitchen including electric cooker, fridge with ice-box, dishwasher and microwave. Outside: Shared use of large garden, lawn and patio area with furniture.

Electric heating included. Bed linen and towels included. Please bring own beach towels. Cot and high chair available - please request when booking. Please also advise if use of the sofa-bed is required when booking. Wireless internet access included.

Off-road parking for one car. Shop and pub: 100 metres. Beach: Seaton 3 miles. One well behaved dog welcome. No smoking. Arrival 3.00pm - departure 10.00am. Arrival day for weekly bookings Saturday.
