Within easy reach of local amenities, a wealth of characterful features, and a delightful garden, the cottage is ideal for a couple, a small family or friends sharing. This Grade II-listed cottage opens up into the living/dining room, fit with exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace where you can dine before cosying up to watch a film or read a book. From here, the kitchen, neat and well-equipped, provides you with a space to cook up a storm for your loved ones.
Outside, the garden is a real suntrap until as late as 7pm, making it perfect for dining alfresco in the warmer months. Back inside this chocolate box cottage, two bedrooms can be found upstairs, a double and a single, where you can rest your head before another day of adventures. Completing the interior is a lovely bathroom, fit with a claw-foot bath for soaking in. Take a break from cooking and enjoy a meal and drink at either The Lamb Inn or The Silverton Inn, before heading back to snuggle up. Charming days out can be found at National Trust Killerton and National Trust Clyston Mill, which are both within easy reach of the property by car, and you'll also find yourself with easy access to both the North and South Devon coasts.
For walking and cycling, head to the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where there is also a range of quaint villages to explore. Silverton is a village and civil parish in Devon, nestled between two rivers, the Exe and the Culm. Silverton is one of Devon's oldest communities, dating back to Saxon times and housing a 1,000-year-old oak tree. The Lamb Inn, a popular pub providing great meals and local ale, as well as a well-equipped convenience shop, are located in the village and provide guests with the necessities they require during a self-catering stay.
