This fabulous property, located in the heart of Kingswear 350 metres from the marina, is perfect for families or friends that are looking for a place where they can unwind yet take advantage of South Devon’s pretty coastal towns and attractions. Sleeping six over three bedrooms with space for the dog, there’s room for everyone here. There are two balconies to enjoy fantastic views of the marina; head out to the lower-floor balcony where you can sizzle up a BBQ, or nab the super-king-size room and take a private moment to enjoy the view with your morning coffee.
This wonderful holiday home has a welcoming feel with colour used tastefully throughout. Warm tones in the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen diner make it a pleasure to cook in, while the bold decor in the lounge invites you to curl up in front of the wood burner in the evenings but feels fresh enough to throw open the patio doors to the balcony in the day. Peaceful blue and white tones in the bathroom beckon you to indulge in a long soak in the bath with waterside views, but upstairs there’s a shower room for a quick rinse. The bedrooms are on this floor too; two super-king-size rooms and a double all benefit from calming pastel colours that help promote a great night’s sleep.
Hop over the river to Dartmouth (1 mile) to see the museum, castle or Blackpool Sands Beach. Climb aboard the ferry from the marina and take trips to Torquay (10.5 miles), Salcombe (20.5 miles) and Totnes (12 miles), or take the Dartmouth Steam Railway that takes you up to Paignton (8 miles by road) where the zoo and beaches are well worth a visit. Don’t forget Berry Head Nature Reserve (5.5 miles) for walks with the whole family.

Thank you for the wonderful stay at your holiday home. We truly enjoyed our time there. However, we noticed that the heating wasn't as effective as we had hoped. Perhaps it could be looked into for future guests' comfort. Despite the cold weather, we still had a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Thank you again for hosting us!

Lovely stay in Marina Lodge. Very comfortable and the house is in a great location for the ferry and a quick hop to Dartmouth. Really enjoyed the pubs, cafes and walking. We will be back!

Wonderful holiday <br />This was our second visit to Marina Lodge - we really love it. We had breakfast on the balcony each morning overlooking the River Dart, the steam railway, Dartmouth, the Naval College and the marina; what could be better?! There are so many wonderful things to do from this fabulous location: The National Trust house Coleton Fishacre, which is beautiful, the ferry or walk to Dartmouth Castle, Berry Head, the railway, Greenway - the list is endless. Marina Lodge itself is also very special, with well equipped and lovely rooms and a view from the bath which is amazing. We very much hope to return next year. Thank you.
