About this property

Set a short distance from the many beaches along the North Devon and North Cornwall coast, it is ideal for couples or families wishing to explore this beautiful area. There is plenty to discover including family theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor, cycling on the Tarka Trail, or walking along the coastal footpaths. Clovelly, a unique cliff-side fishing village that is privately owned and has remained unchanged for many years, is well worth a visit. The larger towns of Bude and Bideford offer a wider range of shops, restaurants and amenities, and Bude also offers a splash pool and ten pin bowling centre, tennis courts and pretty canal.

Step through the front door into the spacious kitchen/diner with exposed stonework and oak kitchen units. The well-equipped kitchen is complete with dishwasher, electric cooker and hob, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and many useful extras – everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. Just to the right of the kitchen is the lounge area, made extra cosy with underfloor heating. Here, you can sit back and relax on the sofas and make use of the Smart TV. There are French doors from the lounge which lead out on to a rear enclosed patio. The bedrooms and bathroom are accessed via an open-tread, winding staircase to the first floor, and there are traditional latch doors on every room, adding a touch more character. The bedrooms consist of one double and one twin (can be made into a king-size bed on request). Both of these rooms enjoy their own TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is also a further single room and a separate shower room with double shower cubicle and WC. You can step outside on to the front patio of this property where you’ll find an outdoor chess/draughts set up to the rear, and a peaceful spot with a BBQ and garden furniture for dining al fresco. A real highlight of this property is the use of the shared hot tub, which is located in it’s own building, just to the left of the front door.
