Newcomen Road is a popular road in Dartmouth due to its town centre location, walk out of the front door and find everything from Shops, Cafes, Restaurants and the River Dart all on the doorstep. Whilst this property is not on the Riverfront it does offer River glimpses from both of the bedrooms and is only 50 yards away from the front. Everything you could want on your holiday is there ready and waiting all within less than a minutes walk from the front door. The Nest Newcomen is accessed from Newcomen Road, once you are through the front door you will need to walk up 19 steps to the main open plan living, kitchen and dining room and the cloakroom. On the second floor, up a further 14 steps, you will find the two bedrooms and family bathroom.

Pets: A maximum of 1 pet is welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsden Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Superb location, very easy to find. Comfy beds, comfy seats, all you can really ask for for a short break! The apartment was toasty warm and dry despite a cold and wet February weekend.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely Christmas break at The Nest, the location is perfect and the accommodation was well equipped, warm and comfortable. The stairs are very steep (this is referenced when booking which is great), but much steeper than expected, and the bannisters on both sets are loose (maybe as these are used to stabilise you when walking up and down), we were a little worried that they would come loose. The location is absolutely perfect, but the walls, carpets and skirting boards were a little tired and scuffed which detracted from the overall look. The communication leading up to, during and after our stay from Original Cottages was superb!
