Just 5 miles away lies the historic town of Shrewsbury, renowned for its medieval character, with black-and-white timber-framed buildings, narrow streets, and more than 600 listed landmarks. Shrewsbury offers a rich cultural scene with the Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury Castle, and scenic River Severn cruises that let visitors take in the town from a new perspective. The town is also packed with vibrant bars, boutique shops, and a variety of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes.
