The estate’s extensive 160-acre grounds are a nature lover’s paradise, meticulously preserved and bursting with wildlife. Guests are free to explore much of the estate, where tranquil lakes provide a peaceful retreat and picture-perfect backdrops for holiday snapshots.

Located in the quaint village of Dorrington, guests will find a traditional English countryside experience with a local shop, family-run butchers, and welcoming pubs and restaurants serving hearty fare. Just 5 miles away lies the historic town of Shrewsbury, renowned for its medieval character, with black-and-white timber-framed buildings, narrow streets, and more than 600 listed landmarks. Shrewsbury offers a rich cultural scene with the Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury Castle, and scenic River Severn cruises that let visitors take in the town from a new perspective. The town is also packed with vibrant bars, boutique shops, and a variety of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes.

For those keen to explore further, the picturesque market town of Ludlow, famous for its food festivals and perched on a cliff above the River Teme, is just 20 miles away.
