This property is located on a working farm.. Acre Hill Lodge offers comfortable accommodations for up to six guests all on one level. Set on the edge of a working farm please note there will be hens, ducks, and cats around dogs on lead countryside sheep and over small animals. The lodge overlooks picturesque countryside views, the lodge provides everything you need to enjoy your time away. Upon arrival you are greeted by an allocated parking area for up to two cars, parking available for a third car in the main driveway in, and an enclosed garden can be found at the front of the lodge, the ideal place to enjoy a bistro-style breakfast and enjoy the view with your furry friends. Entering the property, you are greeted by an open plan living space, where your fully fitted kitchen awaits you providing everything you need to rustle up those home-cooked meals. Don’t fancy cooking? Why not treat yourself at a local restaurant or café, a short drive away? Relax and unwind in the living area and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner while you watch your favourite show or movies. When sleep calls, you have three bedrooms to choose from to sink down and rest your head. The children’s bedroom has a bunk bed and TV. Enjoy the splendid location and picturesque scenery.
Bolton by Bowland has shops, tea rooms, restaurants and bars, and is a short drive away. There is so much to do here from popular woodland walks and famous forests to a golf course, castle, swimming pool and pet farms.It is centrally located for visiting the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks. Clitheroe provides the best of both worlds, including local gift shops, restaurants, takeaways and cafés, but is also a wonderful escape for keen walkers, nature lovers and cyclists. Situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley, you are simply spoilt for choices of walks and local attractions. We recently stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting friends and neighbours in the area. We were attracted by the fact we could bring our 2 mini-schnauzers with us and all 4 of us had a great time! The facilities are excellent and we were made most welcome by the owners. It is very dog friendly and the enclosed garden was much appreciated (especially at the beginning and end of each day) and is well lit.Highly recommended, we will be back!

Had a lovely stay at Acre Hill Lodge, beautiful views out the front with 2 lovely highland cows in the field! The lodge was very well equipped, lovely big oven and plenty of plates, glasses and cups! The lodge is very dog friendly, with a tin of dog treats on entry, our husky absolutely loved it. Wonderful location, nice and rural but a short drive brings you to the nearest town! Plenty to do and see in the local area. Vicki is a lovely, welcoming and friendly host. Would highly recommend and will definitely return!
