Guests say

Guests have praised Waterside Lodge Fifteen for its comfort, cleanliness, and beautiful setting. The lodge is well-received for its spaciousness and modern amenities, including a hot tub that is a hit with both children and adults. The scenic location with a lake adds to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, despite some noise from neighbouring parties. Local pubs and restaurants are within walking distance, enhancing the stay.

The lodge is consistently described as clean and spotless, with guests appreciating the level of cleanliness upon arrival. Towels are provided, adding to the convenience.

The location is praised for its scenic views and proximity to local amenities, though some guests noted the initial approach and surrounding area as less appealing. The steep, windy road access and distance to shops may require driving.

The lodge offers a comfortable stay with ample space, especially for smaller groups. However, some guests mentioned issues with soft mattresses and noise from other levels within the lodge.

Facilities like the hot tub and well-stocked kitchen are highlights, but there are comments on the need for updates, lack of storage, and maintenance issues such as a wobbly table and insufficient hot water for larger groups.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Beautiful lodge, spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. The only criticism was very wet garden furniture cushions which were stacked up in the bedroom by the hot tub, we had to mop the floor as they were soaking wet and the water had spread all over the floor!!

We stayed for a 4 night stay just the 2 of us in a lodge that sleeps 8. We loved the space we had only being the 2 of us. All the staff on site were lovely and friendly. There was everything you needed was there but do feel that considering there is a hot tub there should be dressing gowns. Was a lovely little pub a sort walk away along the main road to the left as you come out the site and a lovely restaurant with excellent food a sort walk away along the main road to the right as you come out the site but check opening times as places close early some nights. Although the Lodge was clean with amazing views they are in need of some updates, if 8 people were staying there is no storage for your cases/bags and we had a board that needed nailing down on our decking which I tripped on and was not addressed even after reporting it to the site manager Harriet and I've never slept on a mattress that was so soft
