Craven House was in a lovely location, so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The property, with it's quirky layout, was tastefully decorated to a modern and high standard but still maintained the character of the building. the delight of lighting the fire on a chilly evening made it very homely. A couple of small electrical isues which we left a note about, but we worked round them and they didn't impact on a great few days away. Thankyou for opening your house to us Derek.

The cottage was very spacious and clean, tidy and well-equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful and in a very beautiful location next to the lovely village green. It's only 5 minutes walk to it's own amazing local waterfall, Cauldron Falls. A few minor things - The cottage was cool initially with no heating in the bedrooms until midnight on first night due to the way the storage heaters function, but after it had warmed up, it was nice and comfortable. The microwave failed on the second evening, but reported, so hopefully replaced by now. Note - if using the Induction hob, every time you switch on, you have to hold the unlock button for 3 seconds, before it'll function. The host was quick to respond to isues we had and we would recommend this cottage in such a lovely village with so much beauty all around it.

This was our second stay in Craven house and we absolutely loved it again. It is such a handy location both in the village and for travelling to and from a lot of amenities in North Yorkshire. Couldnt be happier with the house and hope to be back in the very near future.
