Perfect location for our getaway from the fireworks and Bonfire week. A clean and comfy cottage. Shares its garden with the Big Barn. Bed was comfy but would be better without the foot board- for taller people. Would definitely recommend as a retreat from the world.

I don't think we've ever found a cottage so clean. There was also some grocery items left for us which was a nice gesture. The cottage is tiny and in a remote location but that's what makes it so special. It's a perfect romantic getaway for a couple and has breathtaking views of the Loch and mountains. It's cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. Most of all though, total peace and tranquility. It's fun to drive down the coast road to the west to Gruinard beach, Aultbea and the Artic Convoy Museum, Poolewe and the beautiful Inverewe Gardens and on to Gairloch. The other direction will take you to Corrieshallock Gorge and Falls and on to Ullapool. On a clear night it's so nice to watch the stars. Monday evening is folk music night at the Dundonnel Hotel. Well worth a visit. Overall this is the most delightful little cottage and we'd love to return.

The weather was kind to us and the cottage was spotless. Quite remote so not great for anyone looking for exciting nightlife or facilities close to hand. The welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs and milk was a nice touch by the lovely owner Gael. The scenery was spectacular (as were the midges - so come prepared !) All in all a very enjoyable stay
